Internal Wanderings: Paintings by Maggie Neale

Maggie Neale, ARA member and one of the founders of Studio Place Arts in Barre, has a solo show at the ARA Gallery at CAL through the month of July. On display are over 20 works, spanning decades. From Maggie’s artist’s statement: “As I looked around my studio and home to select my collection, I was surprised which paintings asked to be chosen. I am hoping that this combination of art can allow the viewers to bathe in color, feel an emotional response, perhaps hear the music as the artworks interact with their surroundings, one another, and the eyes upon them.”

Come see this engaging show of one of Vermont’s most prolific, enduring, and visionary artists.

About the Art Resource Association:

Founded in 1975, the mission of the Art Resource Association (ARA) is to promote and support Central Vermont artists. As part of that mission, the ARA regularly holds group shows in venues in the Central Vermont area, including the Center for Arts and Learning, T.W. Wood Gallery, Vermont State House, Montpelier City Center, and Kellogg-Hubbard Library.

The ARA also provides educational opportunities for both members and the community. Member artists regularly offer art courses and workshops, such as on printmaking, watercolor, photography, and framing.

We believe in the power of art, share it in our community, and know that our work helps make our world a better place.
