Our Mission

At the Art Resource Association, our mission is to support diverse artists and share local art with the community and Central Vermont.

The Art Resource Association is an organization of Central Vermont artists whose goal is to promote and support its member artists. As part of that mission, they regularly hold group shows in venues throughout the Central Vermont area. The Art Resource Association also provides educational opportunities where members can offer special workshops to the community. Through the Phil Osgatharp Scholarship Fund, they award need-based fellowships for Vermont Artist Week at the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson. The ARA believes in the power of art, with a goal to provide the opportunity to share it in the community and know that their work helps make our world a better place.
