The time is drawing near to take down the current group exhibit at the center for Arts and Learning and put up a new show.
Where: Center for Arts and Learning, Barre Street, Montpelier, VT.
Dates to note: August 1 – New show hanging; UPDATE: July 18 – Information due for Artwalk brochure; July 29 – Provide exhibit information to Kate Mueller
The show comes down on THURSDAY, AUGUST 1. I will be there to take down the old and put up the new, from noon to 2 p.m. of that day.
NEW SHOW HANGING AUGUST 1: We don’t—yet—have a specific title for the new show, but we’ve decided to commemorate in some way the flood that happened a year ago. The theme, broadly speaking, is resilience, resourcefulness, and community. During an extremely difficult time, community spirit was strong and the town came together.
If you need to retrieve or deliver your work at another time, just let me know, and we’ll make a separate arrangement.
JULY 18, IMPORTANT DATE: Art Walk is on Friday, August 2, and for the show to be listed in the Art Walk brochure, I need to send in a description and jpegs by mid-July. If you would like to have your work featured in the Art Walk brochure, please send me your (300 DPI) jpeg by July 18. Please send the jpeg to kmuellerarts@aol.com
JULY 29, ALSO IMPORTANT DATE: I need to know ahead of time who is exhibiting and to have information about the artwork before August 1. (I’m trying to discourage unannounced walk-ins.) If you plan to be in the new show, please send information about your artwork to me by July 29 (or earlier, of course). Send to kmuellerarts@aol.com
