A powerful art exhibit by members of the Art Resource Association is in display to compliment Lost Nation Theater’s show Next to Normal, a Pulitzer Prize winning play. Don’t miss it! It is up through October 19th.

This year the ARA celebrates its 50th anniversary. Come by during Art Walk, Friday, October 3, to see the art on display at the ARA Gallery at CAL, 46 Barre Street, Montpelier.

Maggie Neale, ARA member and one of the founders of Studio Place Arts in Barre, has a solo show at the ARA Gallery at CAL through the month of July. On display are over 20 works, spanning decades.

Liz le Serviget has a solo show, “Flow,” on the second floor gallery at the Center for Arts and Learning.

Becoming Summer: ARA members mark the transition of spring to summer in this group show celebrating light, becoming, and abundance. The exhibition is on display through June at the ARA Gallery, Center for Arts and Learning, 46 Barre St., Montpelier. Opening is during Art Walk, Friday, June 6, 4–8 p.m. Gallery hours: Mon–Thurs., 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Fri., 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sat., 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

On the evening of Friday, June 6th, VNRC will be hosting a reception for “The Art of Water”, a juried show organized by the Art Resource Association (ARA), in conjunction with Montpelier Art Walk. This represents the first ever group exhibit at VNRC. We hope you will come out and show your support for these local artists!

A new show opens at the ARA Gallery at the Center for Arts and Learning: Nature—plants, animals, landscapes. ARA member artists Beth Campo and Lynn Newcomb display their prints, using a variety of techniques—linoleum, woodcut, collagraph, among others. The reception for the show is Saturday, May 3, 3 to 5 p.m. Come by and see their beautiful work. On display until June 4.
