Life is Short, Art is Long
Life Is Short, Art Is Long: ARA member Lynn Newcomb has a show of her sculpture and works on paper at the Highland Center for the Arts. The exhibit runs from September 27–November 9. Reception on Saturday, September 27, 5–7 pm. Lynn speaks about her art at 6 pm.

“Friendship” at the ARA Gallery at CAL
A new show, Friendship, is up at the ARA Gallery at the Center for Arts and Learning, through September: watercolors by Barbara Korecki and oils by Karen Schaefer. Come see this stunning exhibit of landscapes, celebrating the friendship and collaboration of two talented artists. CAL, 46 Barre St., Montpelier. Internal Wanderings: Paintings by Maggie Neale
Maggie Neale, ARA member and one of the founders of Studio Place Arts in Barre, has a solo show at the ARA Gallery at CAL through the month of July. On display are over 20 works, spanning decades.

Becoming Summer: ARA members mark the transition of spring to summer in this group show celebrating light, becoming, and abundance. The exhibition is on display through June at the ARA Gallery, Center for Arts and Learning, 46 Barre St., Montpelier. VNRC Presents “The Art of Water,” a Show from the Art Resource Association, at Montpelier Art Walk on Friday, June 6th.
On the evening of Friday, June 6th, VNRC will be hosting a reception for “The Art of Water”, a juried show organized by the Art Resource Association (ARA), in conjunction with Montpelier Art Walk. This represents the first ever group exhibit at VNRC. We hope you will come out and show your support for these local artists!

ARA member artists Beth Campo and Lynn Newcomb display their prints, using a variety of techniques—linoleum, woodcut, collagraph, among others.
